Google Map to “Roxborough State Park, Roxborough Drive, Littleton, CO.” Pay the $8 / car entrance fee at the booth and continue down the road to the visitor’s center parking lot on your right.
Just northwest of the visitor’s center, you’ll see as signpost labeled “Fountain Valley Trail.” Follow the Fountain Valley Trail for about 3/4 of a mile until you see the sign on your left for Lyons Overlook, pictured below.
Follow the path up for another 5-10 minutes to see this amazing viewpoint. Once you get back down to the Fountain Valley Trail, you can head back to the visitor’s center (right) or continue to hike the rest of the 2.3 mile loop trail (left).
