This trail is usually very crowded, so it is best to visit during the off season (winter) or very early in the morning or late in the day.
Park at the Fairy Pools Car Park lot and make sure you have the £5 cash only entrance fee. The 2.4 km round trip trail is not well-marked, but the trail will be obvious from the worn-down foot paths and other tourists that you will see hiking along the way.
The trail is easy and it only takes about 20 minutes to reach the pools, but the path can be muddy with slippery rocks. There is no shade, so it can be hot on a sunny day. You can swim in the water; just know that it is very cold.
