Navigate to Colter Bay Visitor Center or to the parking coordinates above. There are restrooms inside the visitor center. The trailhead is just north of the parking lot. You’ll see a “Vehicles Prohibited” sign at the trailhead.
Just after you cross over a narrow strip of land where Jackson Lake will be on either side of you, you can take either fork to get to photo coordinates. Clockwise or counter-clockwise, it’s about the same distance either way. See map below. The photo location is at the southernmost part of the trail.
Note that this trail is located inside Grand Teton National Park, so there is an entrance fee of $30 / car.
